Dirasat Journals were established by The Deanship of Scientific Research at The University of Jordan in 1974. The Deanship of Scientific Research publishes high quality scholarly journals across a wide range of academic disciplines, including Shari’a, Law Sciences, Humanities, Social Sciences, Sports and Educational Sciences.

    Dirasat: Human and Social Sciences is a double-blind peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the Deanship of Scientific Research at the University of Jordan. The journal publishes twelve issues per year.Established in 1974, the journal was published exclusively in print until 2004. Between 2004 and 2017, it was issued in both print and online formats. Since 2017, the journal has been published exclusively online.The journal disseminates original research covering a broad range of disciplines within the humanities and social sciences.All articles are freely accessible under an open-access policy, ensuring wide availability of scholarly research.The journal is indexed in Scopus and other recognized academic databases.

    Dirasat: Educational Sciences is a double-blind peer-reviewed, quarterly, open-access journal published online by The Deanship of Scientific Research at The University of Jordan since 1974. Since then, till 2004, the journal was only published in printed form. From 2004 to 2017, the journal was published in both printed and online formats. Starting in 2017, the journal will only issue an online version. The journal publishes high-quality articles that cover broad areas in Educational Sciences. It offers readers free access to all new research issues relevant to Educational Sciences.In order to provide free access to readers, and to cover the costs of peer review, copyediting, typesetting, long-term archiving by the university of Jordan , and journal management, an article processing charge (APC) applies to papers accepted after peer review.
