Dirasat: Human and Social Sciences is a double-blind peer-reviewed, open-access journal published online by The Deanship of Scientific Research at The University of Jordan in 1974. Since then, till 2004, the journal was only published in printed form. From 2004 to 2017, the journal was published in both printed and online formats. Starting in 2017, the journal will only issue an online version. It publishes high-quality articles cover broad areas in humanities and social science. The journal offers readers free access to all new research issues relevant to Humanities and Social Sciences. Dirasat: Human and Social Sciences journal articles are indexed in SCOPUS, the largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature.
