About the Journal

Dirasat: Human and Social Sciences is a double-blind peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the Deanship of Scientific Research at the University of Jordan. The journal publishes twelve issues per year.Established in 1974, the journal was published exclusively in print until 2004. Between 2004 and 2017, it was issued in both print and online formats. Since 2017, the journal has been published exclusively online.The journal disseminates original research covering a broad range of disciplines within the humanities and social sciences.All articles are freely accessible under an open-access policy, ensuring wide availability of scholarly research.The journal is indexed in Scopus and other recognized academic databases.

 

Publication Frequency:

This journal is published 6 times per year in January, March, May, July, September and November.

Publishing fees:

In order to provide free access to readers, and to cover the costs of peer review, copyediting, typesetting, long-term archiving, and journal management, an article processing charge (APC) applies to papers accepted after peer review. For more details:
