Youth Awareness Level of the Indicators of Achieving Gender Equality as One of Sustainable Development Goals

The study aims at identifying the Youth Awareness level of the indicators of achieving Gender equality as one of sustainable development goals.A descriptive and historical approach has been used to achieve the goals of the study.A questionnaire was used as tool to collect data from(362) respondents who were chosen by the simple random sampling method ,appropriate statistical methods were used to process the data.The study concluded that:Youth have a very high awareness of the indicators of achieving gender equality as on goal of sustainable development through their awareness of the concept of gender,the arithmetic averages ranged between (1.374- 2.026).And the majority of young people with a general average (1.887) believe that gender equality means a situation in which men and women enjoy equal rights, in the educational field with general average of (1.374): Increasing women`s participation in higher education, and in the field of health and life with general average (2.026).In the political sphere with general average (1.856).And in the field of economic empowerment with a general average of (1.768): Equality between men and women in the workplace, The study recommended a number of theoretical and practical recommendations.
