Objectives: This research aims to explore the rhythmic structure in the poetry of Ibn Sara Al-Andalusi through the analysis of its external, internal, and semantic aspects. It seeks to identify the sound structures within the prosodic arrangements, oral patterns, and rhetorical formations to highlight their expressive significance and their role in shaping the context.
Methods: The research adopts a stylistic approach, drawing on reception theories and utilizing certain statistical methods. It examines the rhythm in Ibn Sara's poetry as an essential component that facilitates interaction between the poet and the audience. It investigates the external rhythm represented by meter, rhyme, and narrative, while tracing the manifestations of internal rhythm generated by repetition, parallelism, and accentuation. Additionally, it sheds light on the phenomena of semantic rhythm manifested in thematic layers and the consideration of parallelism.
Results: The research reveals that the elements of rhythmic formation are consistent with the poetic structures and that their roles are integrated in enriching and diversifying meanings, enhancing significance, and avoiding monotony. Furthermore, it demonstrates that these elements effectively contribute to intensifying and adapting the musicality in harmony with the expressive stance of the poet, and in creating coherence and harmony at the level of composition.
Conclusion: The research shows the impact of rhythmic formation in stimulating interaction, elevating the aesthetic value of poetic texts, and highlighting their poetic nature.
