Objectives: This research aims to delve into the graphic image in the poetry of al-Kala'I, in an attempt to establish the relationship between it and the eloquence of the texts by uncovering the linguistic connections contributing to its creation. The imagery holds significant importance in expressing the artistic uniqueness of poetic texts, allowing for the recognition of elements of singularity in the creative experience, which aids in its evaluation.
Methods: The research relies on descriptive and analytical mechanisms, employing a stylistic approach to explore the eloquence of imagery and interpret the relationships that connect its components. In its procedural section, it focuses on two methods of constructing visual imagery: the simile and metaphor, Through this, it examines their composition, effectiveness, and how the components of these structures manifest. The originality of the research stems from the examination of a poetic experience that researchers have overlooked. Al-Kala'i poetry has been neglected due to the delayed compilation of his works in a private diwan.
Results: The research shows that the use of linguistic tools and artistic methods in the pictorial context led to the improvement of the rhetoric of texts by strengthening their meanings and enriching their aesthetics.
Conclusions: The research concludes that the importance of al-Kala'i's graphic images extends beyond its structural role in the textual context; it is a vital element of the creative composition that distinguished his poetic experience. It served as tangible evidence of his mastery and skill in conveying his intentions to the recipient.
