الملخص

الأهداف: هدفت هذه الدراسة التعرف إلى مستوى جودة الحياة وعلاقتها بالاكتئاب لدى أمهات مرضى الفشل الكلوي في الأردن، ومدى اسهام جودة الحياة في الاكتئاب.

المنهجية: تكونت عينة الدراسة من (348) أم من أمهات مرضى الفشل الكلوي في محافظة عمان، ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة تم تطوير مقياس جودة الحياة، ومقياس الاكتئاب وذلك بعد الرجوع للأدب النظري والدراسات السابقة، تم التحقق من صدق وثبات أدوات الدراسة.

النتائج: بيّنت نتائج الدراسة وجود مستوى منخفض من جودة الحياة ومستوى متوسط من الاكتئاب لدى أمهات مرضى الفشل الكلوي في محافظة عمان، كما بيّنت النتائج وجود علاقة ارتباطية عكسية ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى (α=0.01) بين مستوى جودة الحياة، ومستوى الاكتئاب، وكشفت النتائج أن جودة الحياة فسر ما نسبته (12%) من التباين في مستوى الاكتئاب.

الخلاصة: أوصت الدراسة أن تتبنى وزارة الصحة في سياستها وأهدافها ما يدعم جودة الحياة، ويعالج أسباب الاكتئاب لدى المرضى وأسرهم وبشكل خاص مع مرضى الفشل الكلوي، وتفعيل دور أقسام الإرشاد النفسي والاجتماعي في المستشفيات بتوعية أسر المرضى وخاصة مرضى الفشل الكلوي بأهمية جودة الحياة، والذي يلعب دوراً مهماً في خفض مستوى الاكتئاب لديهم.
