Objectives: The study aims to confirm the significance of the artistic print as a rich visual medium, its interactive role, and its effect on other artworks of "interactive art, installation art". The study also identifies the influence and impact between artistic print and postmodern art. Undoubtedly, interactive and artistic print has a positive role in producing a performative and emotional linkage and has been an appealing motivator between the viewer, the artwork, and the artist. It also helps express diverse and rich meanings and contents that may be difficult to express in traditional ways and adds innovative aesthetic dimensions.
Methods: Description of ten works by various Western and Arab graphic artists, alongside surveys and interviews with more than 120 specialists and viewers have been analyzed.
Results: The results indicate that the interaction of individuals with printed artworks, especially when integrated with interactive effects as visual mediums enhances aesthetic values and provides effective and distinctive communication tools. These interactive effects contribute to breaking away from the conventional and creating emotional and positive experiences, such as visual, mental, and emotional interaction. The results also highlight the strong and rich influence and impact between printmaking and "spatial or interactive" art forms and their viewers. It is also found that printmaking is encouraged to evolve and keep pace with the technological and digital advancements of the era, maintaining continuity and integration with postmodern and contemporary arts.
Conclusions: The study concludes that graphic artistic prints can be developed and aligned with advanced technology and modern and postmodern arts in terms of presentation and production. They are particularly employed as a rich, effective, and ever-renewing visual medium in spatial installations and interactive arts.
