(Negation) and Its Aspects in Arabic Rhetoric Lesson An Examination of the Term and Concept

Objectives: The aim of this study is to establish the concept of "negation" and demonstrate its occurrence within the axes of rhetoric through various methods and concepts that transcend linguistic norms.
Methods: This research delves into the aspects of negation within rhetorical discourse, employing a descriptive-analytical approach grounded in an inductive examination of the Arabic rhetorical heritage. It highlights the incorporation of the term within diverse rhetorical phenomena, categorizing them into three sections: direct negation, indirect negation, and negation through inference. The primary focus lies on the first type of negation, namely direct rhetorical negation, with an emphasis on its rhetorical applications.
Results: Analysis of cases of direct negation in rhetorical compositions reveals that its implications extend beyond mere denial through linguistic tools, encompassing rhetorical techniques that were not originally conventional in the usage of the term.
Conclusions: Understanding the concepts and applications of terms contributes to recognizing their synonyms in nomenclature or conceptualization. This is natural due to the dynamic nature of language and its evolving norms.
