Article Processing Charges (APC)

Publishing fees

All articles in the journal "Dirasat: Human and Social Sciences" are free to read online. To provide free access to readers and cover the costs of peer review, copyediting, typesetting, long-term archiving, and journal management, are applied to any paper accepted after peer review. During the manuscript acceptance process, the APC for an article is agreed upon.

The peer review process typically takes 2-3 months from submission to notification of accept/reject decision. When a peer-reviewed article is accepted, the corresponding author is notified and must arrange for payment as soon as possible. The acceptance process will not be completed until payment is received.

A. New publication fees (effective from 1-1-2026)

For manuscripts submitted to the journal on or after 1 January 2026, the publication fee for each accepted article will be 1000 USD, independent of the first author’s institutional affiliation.

B. Previous publication fees (applicable to manuscripts submitted before 1-1-2026)

For manuscripts submitted to the journal before 1 January 2026, the publication fees remain as follows:

Payment of publication fees, as detailed in the following accounts data:

* PLEASE NOTE:

• The amount of the transfer should be inclusive of all the fees and charges due to the intermediary bank.
• The information included in the transfer receipt should include the Article number.
• A copy of the receipt should be provided to the Deanship of Scientific Research by email: dirasathu@ju.edu.jo.
