قسم البحث على أربعة فصول، تضمن الأول منها مشكلة البحث التي وضعها الباحثان تحت التساؤل الآتي كيف تمثل الانزياح المكاني في رسوم هاشم حنون أهميته وهدفه وحدوده، أما الفصل الثاني فقد احتوى على ثلاثة مباحث، الأول منه بعنوان الانزياح _ المصطلح والمفهوم، عنوان الثاني علاقة الانزياح بالمكان، أما الثالث فقد ركز على المرجعيات الفكرية للفنان (هاشم حنون)، وقد اختص الفصل الثالث (إجراءات البحث)؛ من حيث حصر مجتمع البحث وعينته وأداته، في حين تضمن الفصل الرابع نتائج البحث واستنتاجاته، ومن النتائج انزياح عنصر وظيفي متسيد به تستيقظ لغة الفن من سباتها الدلالي المعجمي الأيقوني، لتؤدي وظيفة إيحائية، لأنه يمنحها تعددية المعنى، ليخلص البحث بالمصادر
