نهدف من هذه الورقة البحثية، رصد أهم التحولات العميقة والجذرية التي طرأت على البيئة الرقمية والوسائط الاجتماعية، التي تعتمد على مختلف البرمجيات والتطبيقات، وأجهزة التفاعل التي تتحكم في الوجود والتواصل الإنساني، إضافة إلى عرض الاثار التي خلفتها على العالم الواقعي للأفراد، خاصة مع بروز أشكال جديدة من الهيمنة الخفية، وتزايد ممارسات الاستعباد الارادي والطوعي. وقد اعتمد البحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وذلك باستحضار دراسات ومساهمات الباحثين والمفكرين واجتهاداتهم المعرفية والنقدية، لاستجلاء أشكال استغلال البيانات الرقمية وتوظيفها في مجال المراقبة العالمية الشاملة واقتصاد الانتباه. خلصت نتائج الدراسة إلى أن هناك إدارة واستغلال رقمي لمختلف البيانات الشاملة للأفراد الذين يكشفون عن أهوائهم وانفعالاتهم وسلوكياتهم الاستهلاكية ونشاطاتهم الفكرية، لغرض استخدمها في المجال السياسي والتجاري والامني. وهذا يشكل خطرا يهدد الحياة الخاصة للبشرية والحريات الفردية وكذلك الشرط الانساني.
