الملخص

الأهداف: الهدف من المقال هو تحليل احتجاجات الشوارع التي اندلعت في الفترة من يونيو إلى نوفمبر 2018 ضد الإصلاحات التي فرضها صندوق النقد الدولي.

المنهجية: طريقة البحث المستخدمة في هذا البحث هي الطريقة النوعية.

النتائج: تم تحديد النتائج التالية: اختلفت مظاهرات 2018 عن الاحتجاجات السابقة بسبب تماسك المجتمع المدني في تنظيم وقيادة التظاهرات دون عنف تقريبًا. من وجهة نظر المؤلفين، فاقت الضغوط الخارجية الضغوط الداخلية. كانت التغييرات في العقد الاجتماعي سببًا قاطعًا للاحتجاجات. لقد حققت الاحتجاجات بعض الأهداف التي وضعوا لتحقيقها. لم تكن هذه الاحتجاجات شكلاً من أشكال إعادة اشعال "الربيع العربي".

الخلاصة: في الختام، بينما شهد الأردن احتجاجات في الشوارع من وقت لآخر، فإن هذه المظاهرات رغم اختلافها، ليست بدايات "ربيع عربي" جديد. بل كانت من أكثر الاحتجاجات فاعلية خلال اخر عقدين.
