الأهداف: يسعى هذا البحث إلى استكشاف الأزمة البنيوية التي تواجه المجتمع المدني الفلسطيني، مع التركيز على نحو خاص على المنظمات غير الحكومية الفلسطينية بما يشمل ما تواجهها من أزمات كتلك المرتبطة بالتمويل المشروط المقدم من المانحين، وسياسات السلطة الفلسطينية تجاه المجتمع المدني.
أما المنهجية: ما على مستوى المنهجية المستخدمة في هذا البحث فهي تصميم البحث النوعي مع منهج دراسة الحالة Case Study لأن دراسة الحالة على نحو أساسي يوفر تحليل مفصل وعميق لظاهرة ما في سياقاتها العامة بما فيها الاعتبارات الميدانية في مقاربة جديدة تستفيد من المصادر والأدبيات الثانوية بما فيها المصادر الأكاديمية على شاكلة الكتب والمجلات والدوريات والتقارير.
النتائج: تكمن أهمية دراسة أزمة المنظمات غير الحكومية في الدور الحاسم الذي تلعبه في تعزيز الديمقراطية وحقوق الإنسان وتحقيق العدالة الاجتماعية، على عدّ أن هذه المنظمات الأهلية تعد لاعبًا رئيسًا في عمليات التنمية والتحول الديمقراطي والتغيير السياسي والاجتماعي.
خلاصة يمكن القول إن المنظمات غير الحكومية لها أدوارها الهامة في كل المجتمعات بما فيها المجتمع الفلسطيني الواقع تحت الاحتلال خاصة تلك المرتبطة مع الدمقرطة والصمود والتنمية.
