الملخص

الأهداف: هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى معرفة مستوى كل من تأثير مهنة الوالدين والاختيار المهني والعلاقة بينهما لدى طلبة الجامعات في الأردن .

المنهجية : اعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي وتم اختيار الطلبة بشكل عشوائي من خلال توزيع استبيانات إلكترونياً عبر تطبيق الواتس أب وتكونت العينة من ( 100) طالب وطالبة من الجامعة الأردنية وجامعة البترا الخاصة من تخصصات مختلفة، ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم تطوير مقياس تأثير مهنة الوالدين ومقياس الاختيار المهني.

النتائج: توصلت النتائج إلى أن درجة كلّ من تأثير مهنة الوالدين والقدرة على الاختيار المهني جاءت بمستوى متوسط،، كما أشارت النتائج كذلك إلى وجود علاقة ذات دلالة إحصائية ما بين تأثير مهنة الوالدين والاختيار المهني لدى الطلبة في اختيار تخصص الجامعة الحالي الذي يدرسونه وأن مهنة الوالدين كان لها دور بارز في اختيار التخصص.

الخلاصة: عملية الاختيار المهني للطلاب تعتبر بداية تحقيق الطالب لطموحاته بما يتناسب مع ميوله وقدراته، لذلك ينصح بعدم الضغط على الأبناء في اختيار التخصص الذي يريده الوالدان وترك ذلك للطلبة بما يعود بفوائد كثيرة مثل عدم إضاعة وهدر المال والوقت في اختيار تخصص قد يفشل فيه الطالب والذي له سلبيات آنية ومستقبلية على الطالب، وتوصي الدراسة بالتركيز على أهمية الاختيار المهني والاستقلالية في ذلك في مراحل دراسية مبكرة ومتقدمة قبل الجامعة.
