الأهداف: سعت هذه الدِّراسة إلى استجلاء مظاهر تمثيل رواية إلياس خوري "كأنَّها نائمة" لأحداث النَّكبة الفلسطينيَّة عام 1948 على مستوى السَّرد، وإبراز فاعليَّة الأساليب المُتَّبعة في الرِّواية لتقديم الحدث التَّاريخيِّ على مستوى الفنِّ الرِّوائيِّ من دون أن يلتبس ذلك بمجال عمل علم التَّاريخ.
المنهجية: اعتمد البحث على عدد من مفاهيم السَّرد الحديثة في مناقشة تمثيل الرِّواية للوقائع التَّاريخيَّة، بشكلٍ خاصٍّ التَّمييز بين الحدث التَّاريخيِّ والتَّمثيل الخطابيِّ له في السَّرد، وفق تنظير جورج لوكاتش، وهايدن وايت، وبول ريكور. . كذلك، اعتمد البحث في تتبُّعه الأحداثَ التَّاريخيَّة على المنهج التَّاريخيِّ، واستقرأ أساليب تمثيل رواية "كأنَّها نائمة" للنَّكبة الفلسطينيَّة، وحلَّل أساليب السَّرد فيها، مع مقارنة أسلوب تمثيل الفنِّ الرِّوائيِّ للوقائع التَّاريخيَّة مع مجال اشتغال علم التَّاريخ.
النَّتائج: أبرز البحث أنَّ التَّمثيل التَّاريخيَّ للنَّكبة الفلسطينيَّة في رواية "كأنَّها نائمة" جاء من خلال تقديم التَّجربة الفرديَّة للشَّخصيَّات، "ميليا" على وجه الخصوص، وتفاصيل مواجهتها لأحداث النَّكبة على المستوى النَّفسيِّ والاجتماعيِّ، وعبر مشاعرها الشَّخصيَّة الشَّاملة للخوف والقلق والذُّهول أمام واقع ساسيٍّ مُضطرب. وأبرز البحث اتِّكاء السَّرد في الرِّواية على أساليب متنوِّعة، كالأحلام، واللغة الأدبيَّة، والسَّارد العليم الذي يعمل وفق مفاهيم ما بعد الحداثة.
الخلاصة: خَلُص البحث إلى أنَّ رواية "كأنَّها نائمة" تمثيلٌ سرديٌّ للنَّكبة الفلسطينيَّة، يتجاوز مجال عمل التَّاريخ، عبر تركيزها على انعكاس الأحداث الكبرى في حياة الأفراد وعلاقاتهم وتصوُّراتهم النَّفسيَّة والاجتماعيَّة.
