Abstract

This research aims to highlight the ranks of invalidation and rectification of women in the book Takreeb Attahtheeb by Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar. He mentioned in the introduction to the book twelve ranks of narrators in general. The study used the inductive approach of the women to whom Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar translated in Takreeb Attahtheeb, and then the analytical approach to highlight their ranks and reveal the approach of Al-Hafiz in their invalidation and rectification.  Through this study, in which the ranks of women in “Al-Taqreeb” who have a novel in the six books were extrapolated, it was found that they are six. They are as follows: Sahabi, Fiqh trust, trust, acceptable, unknown, hidden, Unknown, or not known. Four of them were modification ranks, and two were rectification ranks. The study showed the words of invalidation and rectification that Al-Hafiz had applied to these women. He did not exaggerate the words of the wound, and they did not exceed the description. The number of women all reached two hundred and seventy-seven (277), most of them - with the exception of the female companions - were followers of third degree.
