Journal Policy on Data Sharing

Dirasat: Human and Social Sciences supports the principles of research transparency, research integrity, reproducibility, and open scientific communication. The journal encourages authors to make research data available whenever appropriate and to provide a clear Data Availability Statement describing the accessibility of the data underlying the reported findings.

A Data Availability Statement is mandatory for all submitted manuscripts and will be published alongside the accepted article.

The journal may request access to the underlying datasets, raw data, supporting materials, or other relevant research outputs during the peer-review process, editorial evaluation, or after publication where necessary to verify the reported findings or safeguard research integrity.

The journal recognizes that data sharing may be restricted for ethical, legal, privacy, confidentiality, intellectual property, or contractual reasons. In such cases, authors must clearly explain the reasons for these restrictions in their Data Availability Statement.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that any shared data comply with all applicable ethical, legal, privacy, confidentiality, and intellectual property requirements. Data containing personally identifiable information, confidential information, or sensitive data must not be made publicly available unless all necessary permissions and approvals have been obtained.
