Dirasat: Human and Social Sciences is a double-blind peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the Deanship of Scientific Research at the University of Jordan. The journal publishes twelve issues annually and is dedicated to disseminating high-quality, original research across a broad range of disciplines within the humanities and social sciences.

Established in 1974, the journal was published exclusively in print until 2004. Between 2004 and 2017, it was available in both print and online formats. Since 2017, the journal has been published exclusively online, providing immediate and unrestricted access to its published content.

All published articles are freely available under the journal's open-access policy, ensuring the broad dissemination and accessibility of scholarly research to researchers, practitioners, and the wider academic community worldwide.
