لا شك في أن أخبار الجريمة تأخذ اهتماماً كبيراً من قبل الوسط الاجتماعي ووسائل التواصل الاجتماعي الحديثة ( كالفيس بوك والوتس أب والتويتر وهكذا. وأصبحت هذه الوسائل الحديثة تلعب دوراً حقيقياً في تشكيل سياسة الإدارة العامة وتوجهات الناس وميولهم وعقولهم, وذلك لتأثيرها الكبير على تغير وضع اتجاهات الناس الفكرية والسياسية والاجتماعية التي تشكل الرأي العام في النهاية. فالرأي العام هو مجموعة من الأفكار والمعتقدات الفكرية التي تعتنقها طائفة واسعة من الناس )عامة الناس ( حول مسألة من مسائل الحياة وقضاياه، ولذلك نجد أن كثير من قرارات الحكومة قد يتم التراجع عنها، وذلك بسبب الرفض المجتمعي لها. ومن هنا نقول أن الرأي العام قوة كامنة بمجرد تحركها او استفزازها يمكن أن تغير الكثير على أرض الواقع. ومن هنا جاءت هذه الدراسة لبيان تأثير شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي على منظومة حسن سير العدالة الجنائية, ووجدنا بان نشر تفاصيل الجريمة وأخبار التحقيق الابتدائي والمحاكمات السرية يؤثر تأثيراً واضحاً على حسن سير العدالة الجنائية. ومن هذا المنطلق وحرصاً على ضمان حسن سير العدالة الجنائية وضع المشرع الأردني عدة نصوص ليحمي هذه المنظومة وليضمن كرامة الإنسان واحترام أدمته. وقد تبين لنا بأن النصوص القانونية الحالية في التشريع الأردني لا تلبي الطموح لذلك خلصت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من النتائج والتوصيات لتعكس الطموح الذي نصبو اليه في تشريعاتنا.
