Virtuous Women and Making Change through the Tale of Prophet Musa- (Peace be upon him): A Semantic Analytical Study
Keywords:
Quran, Musa, woman, changeAbstract
The research is centered on the image of the righteous woman in the Holy Quran, namely in the tale of the prophet Musa. The role of the woman in making change appears in her role as a mother, sister, daughter and wife. The portrayal of such examples reflects the richness of the Holy Quran. Educational, moral and religious teachings can be deducted from the stories narrated. The study includes examples of people who had a direct influence in the tale of Prophet Musa: Musa’s mother, Musa’s sister, Pharaoh’s wife and Shuaib’s two daughters. This study adopted the method of extrapolation, analysis, and deduction by extrapolating the verses related to the story of Musa (peace be upon him), which presented the role of women to show al'iiejaz albayaniu in them with the help of interpretation books and Hadith and language books. The study reached for the following results: showing al'iiejaz albayaniu in some verses that mentioned the story of Musa -peace be upon him-, showing the meanings of the verses of the story of Musa -PBUH- in stating real educational experiences of good women who made a difference in life, both individually and collectively, and stating the character traits of righteous women in the story of Musa (peace be upon him). The study recommended analyzing the Quranic stories to extract an educational curriculum that builds a great character and studying the meanings and connotations of the Qur'anic systems to devise educational issues that produce the goodness of the soul and society.
