تناولت الدراسة الحالية تعرُّف طبيعة مرونة الأنا وعلاقته بمستوى الطموح لدى أُمّهات الأطفال التوحديين في محافظات الجنوب في المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية, ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم اختيار عينة تكونت من (98) أُمًّا من أُمّهات الأطفال التوحديين في محافظات الجنوب, وتطوير مقياسي مرونة الأنا ومستوى الطموح, وقد توصلت نتائج الدراسة إلى أن مرونة الأنا ومستوى الطموح جاء بدرجة متوسطة, وأن هناك علاقة إيجابية ذات دلالة إحصائية بين مرونة الأنا والاستبصار والإبداع وتكوين العلاقات وبين الطموح. وبناء على نتائج الدراسة فقد خرج الباحث ببعض التوصيات, منها: ضرورة العمل على تنمية مرونة الأنا وخاصة تكوين العلاقات لدى أُمّهات الأطفال التوحديين.
