هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى معرفة أسباب ضعف طلبة تخصص معلم صف في جامعة الطفيلة التقنية في مهارة التلاوة والتجويد من وجهة نظرهم، واعتمد الباحثان المنهج الوصفي المسحي، وتكونت عينتها من جميع طالبات تخصص معلم صف البالغ عددهن 90 طالبة، في جامعة الطفيلة التقنية، في الفصل الثاني من العام الدراسي 2018/2019، ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة قام الباحثان بتطوير استبانة مكونة من 26 فقرة، مشتملة على محورين رئيسين: المحور الأول: البيانات الأساسية لأفراد الدراسة، والمحور الثاني: أسباب ضعف طلبة تخصص معلم صف في جامعة الطفيلة التقنية في مهارة التلاوة والتجويد من وجهة نظرهم، حيث تكونت من ثلاث مجالات: الأسباب المتعلقة بالطالب، الأسباب المتعلقة بالمعلم، الأسباب المتعلقة بطرائق التدريس. ومن أهم النتائج التي توصلت إليها الدراسة: أنَّ المتوسط الحسابي حسب استجابة عينة الدراسة لمستوى مجالات أسباب ضعف طلبة تخصص معلم صف في جامعة الطفيلة التقنية في مهارة التلاوة والتجويد من وجهة نظرهم جاء على المستوى الكلي بدرجة مرتفعة. ومن التوصيات التي خرجت بها الدراسة: إقامة محاضرات لتعريف الطلبة بأهمية أحكام التلاوة والتجويد.
