هدفت الدراسة إلى تعرُّف نضج الاتجاه المهني لدى طلبة السنة الأولى في جامعة جدارا واختلافه بإختلاف بعض المتغيرات، وتكونت عينتها من (200) طالبا وطالبة من طلبة السنة الأولى من جامعة جدارا، جرى اختيارهم بالطريقه العشوائية، وطبق مقياس نضج الاتجاه المهني. أظهرت النتائج وجود مستوى متوسط لدى أفراد عينة الدراسة في نضج الاتجاه المهني، وأشارت الى عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعزى إلى أثر الجنس في جميع المجالات وفي الدرجة الكلية باستثناء بعدي الإهتمام في اتخاذ القرار المهني (مدى اهتمام الفرد في المشاركة في عملية اتخاذ القرار المهني)، وجاءت الفروق لصالح الذكور، والموائمة والتوفيق في اتخاذ القرار المهني، وجاءت الفروق لصالح الاناث، كما أشارت النتائج الى عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعزى إلى أثر التخصص في جميع المجالات باستثناء بعد التأكد من إتخاذ القرار المهني، وفي الدرجة الكلية، وجاءت الفروق لصالح العلمي، في حين ظهرت عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعزى إلى أثر التفاعل بين الجنس والتخصص في جميع المجالات باستثناء بعد التأكد من إتخاذ القرار المهني وفي الدرجة الكلية، وانتهت الدراسة لمجموعة توصيات أهمها: تضمين المناهج الدراسية معلومات عن المهن ومتطلباتها وكيفية الالتحاق بها.
