الأهداف: هدفت الدراسة إلى تعرُّف أثر برنامج تدريبي مستند إلى الذكاء الانفعالي في تنمية المشاركة الاجتماعية لدى عينة من طلبة جامعة مؤتة، لما لذلك من أهمية في تهيئة طلبة الجامعات للمشاركة الاجتماعية، وتوسيع هذا المفهوم لديهم، وجعلهم قادرين على تحمل المسؤوليات، ومواجهة الضغوط.
المنهجية: اتبع في الدراسة المنهج التجريبي، حيث تكونت عينة الدراسة من (64) طالبا جرى اختيارهم بالطريقة المتيسرة، وتم توزيعهم على المجموعة التجريبية (32) طالبا، و(32) طالبا في المجموعة الضابطة، ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم تطوير برنامج تدريبي مستند إلى الذكاء الانفعالي، وجرى جمع البيانات باستخدام مقياس المشاركة الاجتماعية، الذي يتكون من 51 فقرة موزعة على أربعة أبعاد.
النتائج: أظهرت النتائج وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا عند مستوى الدلالة (0.05) بين المجموعتين التجريبية والضابطة ولصالح المجموعة التجريبية على أبعاد مقياس المشاركة الاجتماعية، وعلى الدرجة الكلية.
الخلاصة: أوصت الدراسة بإجراء مزيد من الدراسات لبحث العلاقة بين الذكاء الانفعالي، والمشاركة الاجتماعية على عينات أخرى من الطلبة في جامعة مؤتة، وعلى كليات أخرى غير كلية العلوم التربوية، وفي جامعات أخرى، وتوظيف البرنامج التدريبي من قبل المهتمين في مجال المشاركة الاجتماعية.
