هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى كشف أثر استخدام تطبيقات إنترنت الأشياء في تنمية مهارتي الاستيعاب القرائي والتعبير الكتابي في مادة اللغة العربية لدى طالبات الصف السابع الأساسي في الأردن؛ حيث تكون أفراد الدراسة من (50) طالبة من طلبة الصف السابع الأساسي في مدارس ميار الدولية التابعة لمديرية التعليم الخاص في محافظة العاصمة في الأردن، خلال الفصل الثاني من العام الدراسي 2019/2020. جرى اختيار شعبتين وتقسيمهما عشوائيًا إلى مجموعتين إحداهما تجريبية تكونت من (25) طالبة درست باستخدام تطبيق إنترنت الأشياء، والأخرى ضابطة تكونت من (25) طالبة درست بالطريقة الاعتيادية. ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة جرى إعداد تطبيق إنترنت الأشياء، واختبار تنمية مهارة الاستماع، واختبار تنمية مهارة التعبير الكتابي أشارت نتائج الدراسة إلى وجود فرق دال إحصائيًا بين المجموعتين التجريبية والضابطة عند مستوى الدلالة (α=0.05)، وذلك لصالح المجموعة التجريبية. أوصت الدراسة توظيف تطبيقات إنترنت الأشياء في تدريس مواد اللغة العربية.
