الملخص

هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تعرُّف مستوى إدراك معلمي العلوم في المرحلة المتوسطة في المملكة العربية السعودية لمهارات القرن الحادي والعشرين. وتكوّنت عينتها من (93) معلمًا ومعلمةً بنسبة (65.03%) من مجتمع الدراسة موزعين إلى (48) معلمًا بنسبة (64.86%) من مجتمع المعلمين و(45) معلمة بنسبة (65.22%) من مجتمع المعلمات. جرىاختيارهم بالطريقة العشوائية البسيطة. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة استخدم الباحثان المنهج الوصفي المسحي. وتمثلت أداة الدراسة في استبانة تكونت من (57) مهارة موزعة على (8) مجالات. وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن مستوى إدراك معلمي العلوم لمهارات القرن الحادي والعشرين كان مرتفعًا، وأنه يوجد فرق ذو دلالة إحصائية في مستوى إدراك معلمي العلوم لمهارات القرن الحادي والعشرين يُعزى إلى النوع الاجتماعي، ولصالح الإناث، بينما لا يوجد فرق ذو دلالة إحصائية في مستوى إدراك معلمي العلوم لمهارات القرن الحادي والعشرين يُعزى إلى التخصص أو عدد سنوات الخبرة في التدريس.وأوصت الدراسة بأهمية تضمين مناهج العلوم وبرامج إعداد معلمي العلوم وتأهيلهم لمهارات القرن الحادي والعشرين، وإجراء دراسات مشابهة على معلمي العلوم في مختلف المراحل الدراسية.
