Dirasat: Shari’a and Law Sciences is a double-blind peer-reviewed, quarterly, open-access journal published online by The Deanship of Scientific Research at The University of Jordan since 1974. Since then, till 2004, the journal was only published in printed form. From 2004 to 2017, the journal was published in both printed and online formats. Starting in 2017, the journal will only issue an online version. The journal publishes high-quality articles that cover broad areas in Islamic Studies and Law Sciences . It offers readers free access to all new research issues relevant to Islamic Studies and Law Sciences. In order to provide free access to readers, and to cover the costs of peer review, copyediting, typesetting, long-term archiving by The University of Jordan, and journal management, an article processing charge (APC) applies to papers accepted after peer review.
