الأهداف: يناقش هذا البحث وثيقة دمشق التي اكتشفت في نهاية القرن التاسع عشر، وعرض جزء من القسم الأول من محتوياتها وهي اللفيفة (أ) المتعلقة ببني إسرائيل، والتعريف بهذا المحتوى وتحليله، وبيان أهم الأمور التي وردت في الوثيقة، وتقاطعت مع القرآن الكريم والكتاب المقدس، ومقارنة النتائج المتوصل إليها بين المصادر الثلاثة.
المنهجية: واستخدمت الدراسة المنهج الاستقرائي، وذلك من خلال استقراء النصوص التي تتحدث عن بني إسرائيل في اللفيفة (أ) من وثيقة دمشق، والمنهج التحليلي من خلال ما ورد في هذه النصوص، والمنهج المقارن بين ما ورد في وثيقة دمشق، وما بين القرآن الكريم، والكتاب المقدس.
النتائج: إن ما جاء في اللفيفة (أ) من وثيقة دمشق فيما يتعلق ببني إسرائيل من أحداث ووقائع يتطابق مع كثير من الأحداث المذكورة في القرآن الكريم والكتاب المقدس، مما يدل على أن وثيقة دمشق فيها قسط كبير من الوحي المحمدي، وقد تكون فعليا بقايا حقيقة التوراة والإنجيل.
الخلاصة: توصي الدراسة بإيلاء اهتمام أكبر بوثيقة دمشق، والبحث أكثر حول هذه المصادر الثمينة، وإعادة دراستها في ضوء النص القرآني، وفي ضوء الحديث النبوي الشريف.
