The Effect of a Proposed Instructional Program Based on the Multiple Intelligences Theory on EFL Jordanian Ninth-Grade Students’ Achievement in English

الملخص

الأهداف: الكشف عن فاعلية برنامج تعليمي مقترح قائم على نظرية الذكاءات المتعددة في تحصيل طلبة أردنيين في الصف التاسع في اللغة الإنجليزية.

المنهجية: تكونت عينة الدراسة من 40 طالبة في شعبتين، تم توزيعهم عشوائيًا بحيث اعتبرت إحداهما مجموعة ضابطة (20) طالبة، والأخرى المجموعة تجريبية (20 طالبة). تم استخدام أداة بحثية واحدة لجمع بيانات الدراسة: اختبار تحصيل شامل القراءة والكتابة والاستماع والمحادثة في اللغة الإنجليزية. تم تحليل البيانات باستخدام المتوسطات الحسابية، والانحرافات المعيارية إضافة إلى تحليل التباين المصاحب ANCOVA and MANCOVA.

النتائج: أشارت نتائج الدراسة إلى وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند(α=0.05) بين متوسط علامات طلبة المجموعة التجريبية الذين تم تدريسهم وفقا للبرنامج القائم على الذكاءات المتعددة ومتوسط علامات المجموعة الضابطة الذين تم تدريسهم على الطريقة الاعتيادية. وكان هذا الاختلاف في صالح المجموعة التجريبية لأن متوسط العلامات المعدلة كان (55.20)، وهو أعلى من متوسط العلامات المعدلة للمجموعة الضابطة (46.45).

الخلاصة: إن البرنامج التعليمي المقترح القائم على نظرية الذكاءات المتعددة أكثر فعالية من الطريقة التقليدية في تطوير مهارات اللغة الإنجليزية لدى الطالبات. توصي الدراسة بتضمين مبادئ نظرية الذكاءآت المتعددة في مناهج اللغة الإنجليزية كلغة أجنبية لتحسين تحصيل الطالبات في اللغة الإنجليزية في الأردن.
