This study investigates the status of the good governance in Jordan with specific focus on the political dimension indicators. The purpose of this study was to measure and analyze the status of such indicators during the period (2002-2019) using the descriptive approach and systems analysis approach and comparative approach. Results supported the study hypothesis and concluded that the decrease of good governance level in Jordan is substantially a political rather than economic or administrative issue. There are an constellation of factors and circumstances resulted in a decrease in the political dimension indicators in Jordan, most importantly immature practice of the parliamentary governments, modest horizon of freedom and democracy levels during the period under study, in addition to some international and regional factors, most prominently consequences of the regional instability and Arab spring.
