Islamic Studies and Social Sciences: Towards Integrated Knowledge

In pursuit of knowledge integration between Islamic sciences and social sciences, and with the aim of building intellectual bridges between revelation-based sciences and social studies that explore societal traditions, phenomena, and individual behaviors, the editorial board of the Journal of Dirasat: Human and Social Sciences is pleased to announce a special issue dedicated to presenting scientific research in Islamic sciences, including jurisprudence and its principles, the Qur'an and its sciences, Prophetic hadith and its sciences, as well as Islamic theology and ethics. This special issue will focus on linking the principles of Islamic law with various contemporary social issues, according to the following themes:

  • The integration of knowledge between Islamic sciences and social sciences.
  • Social crises: causes, effects, and remedies from an Islamic perspective.
  • The concept of social peace in Islamic thought and its civilizational dimensions.
  • Coexistence and cooperation in both historical and contemporary Islamic societies.
  • Any other subjects related to the theme of the issue.

Research submissions should demonstrate originality, innovation, and a significant contribution to the advancement of knowledge. They must also adhere to the principles of authentic academic research, including rigorous methodology and standards.

All submissions to this special issue will be subject to the peer review process of the Journal of Dirasat: Human and Social Sciences.
