Additionally, it sought to identify differences according to variables such as gender, academic level, and department.
Methods: A descriptive survey method was employed, utilizing a questionnaire consisting of 26 items, which was distributed among a sample of 274 postgraduate students at King Khalid University after ensuring its validity and reliability.
Results: Following appropriate statistical analyses, the study revealed that King Khalid University's role in promoting the concept of lifelong learning, as perceived by postgraduate students, was significant. However, the challenges facing the university in promoting lifelong learning were rated between moderate and significant. The results also indicated differences in students' responses attributable to gender, favoring males, academic level, favoring doctoral students, and department, favoring the Department of Educational Technology.
Conclusions: Based on the study's findings and interpretations, it recommends the development of educational programs that support the concept of lifelong learning. Furthermore, it suggests that the university expand its community partnership agreements with various sectors to meet the requirements for enhancing lifelong learning skills.
