الملخص

هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تعرُّف درجة امتلاك الأفراد ذوي الإعاقة العقلية البالغين لمهارات تقرير المصير من وجهة نظر الوالدين، وتعرُّف الفروق في درجة امتلاكهم لمهارات تقرير المصير من وجهة نظر الوالدين تعزى لمتغيراتالمستوى الاقتصاديّ للأسرة، وشدَّة الإعاقة، والعمر الزمني للفرد، والمركز قطاع (خاص/ حكومي). تكونت عينة الدراسة من (131) ولي أمر ذوي إعاقة عقلية بالغين في محافظتي إربد وعجلون، جرى اختيارهم بالطريقة المتيسرة. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة جرى تطوير مقياس لمهارات تقرير المصير خاص بأولياء الأمور. أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أنَّ درجة امتلاك الأفراد ذوي الإعاقة العقلية البالغين لمهارات تقرير المصير والمحاور التابعة لها من وجهة نظر الوالدين جاءت بدرجة متوسطة. كما بينت النتائج وجود فروق دالة إحصائيًا (α=0.05)  بين الأوساط الحسابية لامتلاك الأفراد ذوي الإعاقة العقلية البالغين لمهارات تقرير المصير من وجهة نظر الوالدين وفقًا لدرجة الإعاقة، لصالح ذوي الإعاقة العقلية البسيطة، ولنوع المركز، لصالح المراكز الحكومية، وعدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائيًا عند مستوى الدلالة (α=0.05) بين الأوساط الحسابية لامتلاك الأفراد ذوي الإعاقة العقلية البالغين لمهارات تقرير المصير من وجهة نظر الوالدين وفقًا للعمر ومستوى دخل الأُسرة الاقتصادي.
