Abstract

Objectives: This research explores the significance of Virtual Reality (VR) in teaching interior design to enhance students' creativity in educational settings. The study examines VR's impact on learning environments, students, and interior design projects quality.

Methods: Utilizing a mixed research approach, combining quantitative and qualitative methods, the research gathered data through questionnaires (from 200 interior design students), personal interviews (with 50 academic specialists), analysis of relevant VR studies (5 studies), and a correlation between traditional and VR technology in interior educational environments design.

Results: The results affirm that VR positively influences both functional and aesthetic aspects of interior design in educational environments. The findings highlight improvements in efficiency, performance, services, and positive thinking during design process in these educational environments.

Conclusion: Overall, this research emphasizes the importance of integrating VR technology to elevate students' thinking and creativity in addition to enhance interior design outcomes in educational settings among their projects.
