Objectives: This study aims to highlight the most important concrete problems which philosophical anthropology studies in the current condition of man, in particular, the problem of "the gap between two worlds: a world lived emotionally, and a world formed by technology in addition to the disturbances and the various forms of violence inherent in contemporary societies; the problem of the relationship between man and the world in which he lives and his relationship with others. In this context, multiple aspects are studied such as love, fearlessness, kindness, generosity, friendship, respect and empathy.
Methods: This study adopts a method of analysis and comparison where the problems were analyzed within the framework of a comparison between the various works of Paul Ricœur, Max Schiller, Husserl, Heidegger, etc.
Results: The study shows that such problems result from the lack of reconciliation between emotional and moral experience and the domininance of technology in all aspects of life. Moreover, the lack of connection between existence and empathy nullifies moral values and destroys the foundations of coexistence in the world with and for others.
Conclusions: This study recommends investing the results reached in philosophical anthropology research and stressing the need to reconcile the world lived emotionally and the world shaped by technology. Further, it is necessary to pay attention to the other who is different from oneself within the framework of cultural and social coexistence based on friendship and respect as well as mutual recognition, in order to achieve a better life for humanity.
