The research examines the transformations of the poetic discourse in the praise poem of Al-Mutanabi to reveal the various influences that contributed to the formation of this discourse, the emergence of the active subject in it, and its disappearance in his praise of the support of the Al-Buihi state, and what followed this in the meanings that contradict with his entire poetry. His praise speech went through two phases that drew the limits of his literary life and normal life and were reflected in the construction of his praise poem after the poet threw his ambition on the thresholds of politics. From the origins of the art of praise; To highlight the transformation in his speech and to realize the technical characteristic of the praise poem and its connection with the transformation of the poet's personality from one condition to another. The research raises the problem of the shift in the praised discourse of Al-Mutanabbi between two stages of his life, to show the effect of changing the relationship between the two sides of the praise poem. The research ended with linking the shifts in the poetic discourse of Al-Mutanabi with the transformations of his life in which the ego moved from clamor to silence and nothingness, and his transfer of the praise poem into an act and value targeting the praised aesthetically and culturally.
