Abstract

Objectives: This study seeks to understand the nuances of the Qur'anic similarity, in order to deduce the requirements for the differences between the verses that are similar in terms of letters, words, or combinations, to focus on the secrets of the Qur'anic expression, and to express the accuracy of the choice of words, and the wording of the combination, with what it reveals. It shows the beauty of the images of miracles in the Holy Qur’an.

Methods: the study contained examples according to the inductive approach taking into account the diversity in the selection of verses. six issues were discussed in it: deleting a letter from the verb, the difference in the use of prepositions, repetition, the difference in the use of connectives (what), (who), singular words and their plurals, and the difference in the use of words. After reviewing the opinions of the scholars, I conducted a critical process of what they wrote and preferred what was closest to what was intended.

Results: I concluded that (Semantic Appropriateness) is one of the requirements in similar verses.

Conclusion: similarity is not repetition, but rather the same story and the expression are different. Even if there is a similarity between two verses, there is something in them that requires a difference in usage. It is considered one of the most important tributaries of the Quranic miracle. The study recommends intensifying the efforts of researchers to complete this type of study and delve into it.
