Abstract

Objectives: The research aims to clarify the concept of community diversity management according to the Islamic perspective, focusing on its principles and components, and highlighting practical models from prophetic applications.

Methods: The research relies on three sequential methodological tools: induction, analysis, and then comparison. The researcher examined the religious texts related to diversity management, analyzing them to understand their intended meanings and comparing the views of scholars.

Results: Community diversity management aligns with human nature, as it fosters understanding and peaceful coexistence between different cultures and contributes to reducing the exclusion and marginalization of others, thereby enabling civil peace and community security. It serves as a criterion for measuring the humanity of a state and society. Wise diversity management is one of the most important executive tools for achieving the goal of human development in Islamic law, which intersects with the description of humanity in all people, regardless of their color, language, race, or even religion.

Conclusions: Community diversity management aims to leverage societal differences to achieve human development and community security. It is based on key Islamic principles, including celebrating diversity, enhancing human dignity, and fostering cultural understanding. The prophetic practice, exemplified by the Medina Charter, serves as a model for effective diversity management, promoting peaceful coexistence among diverse community components.
