الملخص

يعد التصميم الداخلي تعبيرًا حيًا وصادقًا عن ثقافة الشعوب وتظهر العلاقة القوية والواضحة من المجتمع في العمارة والتصميم الداخلي عبر التاريخ منذ بداية الخليقة، وقد أكدت هذه الدراسة ذلك عن طريق تسليط الضوء ودراسة المحاور الآتية: علاقة التصميم الداخلي بالمجتمع، ودراسة مفهوم التصميم الداخلي ونشأته وتطوره تاريخيًا وتحليله باستخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي للبيوت السكنية في عمان، وخلصت الدراسة إلى توصيات منها: تسليط الضوء على المستجدات والتطورات التي واكبت التصميم الداخلي، والتعامل مع مستجدات التكنولوجية من منطلق إخضاعها لفكر المصمم وفلسفة مجتمعه من خلال تطويعها لهذا الفكر، والتعامل مع البيئة بالمفهوم الشامل لتحقيق الاستدامة في التصميم وسعيًا للوصول إلى أعلى مستويات الجودة.
