الأهداف: تهدف هذه الدراسة النوعية إلى التحقق من واقع التعامل بين الإسلام والمسيحية في مدينة مان، من خلال التحقيق في مستوى التعايش السلمي بين المسلمين والمسيحيين بمان، كوت ديفوار.
المنهجية: استخدم البحث اختيارًا محددًا لتوفير معلومات محددة لمعالجة الوضع الحالي بين المواطنين؛ ولإيجاد حلول مناسبة للحفاظ على التعايش السلمي بين ثلاث مجموعات دينية: الأئمة والقساوسة وأفراد المجتمع، تم اختيارهم بناءً على تجاربهم في التعايش الحالي.
النتائج: أشارت النتائج إلى أن وقع التعامل الحالي بين المسلمين والمسيحيين كان وديًا ودافئًا، وأن كلا الديانتين تعيشان في سلام وانسجام، منذ أن تولى الرئيس واتارا منصبه في عام 2011م الذي أقام علاقة جيدة بين الديانتين. وقد ظهر من نتائج وجهة نظر المشاركين أن المسيحية هي الديانة المفضلة لدى الحكومة، بيد أن للمسلمين تأثير أكبر في المجتمع.
التوصيات: خلص البحث إلى أن المسلمين والمسيحيين في كوت ديفوار يتمتعون بالتعايش السلمي في وئام وتسامح واحترام متبادل. ويلعب الحوار الديني بعض الأدوار الحاسمة في حل النزاعات وسوء التفاهم. لذلك أوصت الدراسة بضرورة قيام الحكومة والقادة الدينيين بخلق وعي من أجل توعية المواطنين بأهمية التعايش الديني السلمي في المجتمع.
