The Role of Saudi Universities in Promoting a Culture of Community Coexistence in the light of Contemporary Global Experiences

الملخص

هدفت الدراسة إلى تعرُّف دور الجامعات السعودية في تعزيز ثقافة التعايش المجتمعي في ضوء الخبرات العالمية المعاصرة، استخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي المسحي من خلال تطبيق أداة الاستبانة على عينة الدراسة الميدانية المتمثلة في أعضاء هيئة التدريس والطلاب بكلية التربية بجامعات (الملك سعود -الإمام عبد الرحمن بن فيصل -أم القرى) بواقع (248) عضو هيئة تدريس و(332) من الطلاب والطالبات. وقد توصلت نتائج الدراسة إلى أن واقع دور الجامعات في تعزيز ثقافة التعايش المجتمعي من وجهة نظر طلاب الجامعات قد جاء بدرجة مرتفعة بمتوسط حسابي بلغ (3.84)، كما أظهرت النتائج أن من وسائل تعزيز ثقافة التعايش المجتمعي في الجامعات من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس الحفاظ على أمن واستقرار المجتمع، ومساعدة الطلبة على الفهم الصحيح للدين ومقاصد الشريعة، وحماية ثقافة الطلبة من أفكار التطرف، كما أظهرت النتائج أن من المعوقات التي تواجه الجامعات عند سعيها لتعزيز ثقافة التعايش المجتمعي قلة ارتباط مفردات المناهج الجامعية بثقافة التعايش المجتمعي، وقصور تقديم بعض أعضاء هيئة التدريس للنشاطات التي تساعد في تعزيز ثقافة التعايش لدى الطلاب. وأوصت الدراسة بضرورة توعية الطلاب والطالبات بأهمية التعايش في بناء المجتمع، وذلك من خلال الندوات واللقاءات المفتوحة التي تنظمها الجامعة بحضور المختصين في ذلك الجانب.الكلمات المفتاحية: الجامعات السعودية، ثقافة التعايش المجتمعي، الخبرات العالمية المعاصرة.
