الأهداف: هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى عرض وتحليل مجموعة من الأعمال الفنية الكاريكاتورية التي تعكس وجهة نظر الفنان في تعريف الإرهاب ومعالجته. كما سعت إلى تقديم رؤى وتوصيات حول إمكانيات توظيف فن الكاريكاتير في مكافحة الإرهاب في مجتمعنا المعاصر.
المنهجية: اتبعت الدراسة المنهج التحليلي الوصفي على النحو التالي: طريقة المسح: من خلال جمع ودراسة ووصف مجموعة من أعمال رسامي الكاريكاتير البارزين التي يتناولون فيها موضوع الإرهاب. وطريقة تحليل المحتوى: من خلال دراسة وتحليل الأعمال الكاريكاتورية لعينة الدراسة.
النتائج: خلصت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من النتائج، أهمها: إن الغالبية العظمى من فناني الكاريكاتير في معظم دول العالم قد التزموا بقضية مواجهة -ظاهرة الإرهاب المتفشية في المجتمعات المعاصرة، ولكن على نحو ليس كاف في ظلّ تنامي هذه الظاهرة.
الخلاصة: لفن الكاريكاتير دور بارز في مواجهة أسباب ظاهرة الإرهاب قبل نشوئها، وذلك من خلال -الدور الكبير الذي يلعبه فن الكاريكاتير في التشكيل الثقافي والعاطفي لأفراد المجتمع، والتحرر من الاتجاهات والقناعات السلبية التي قد تشكل أساسًا للتطرف وارتكاب أعمال إرهابية.
