ترجمة الاستعارات ذات العلاقة بالحيوانات في السياسة بين الإنجليزية والعربية

الأهداف: يهدف هذا البحث الى دراسة الاستعارات المفهومية ذات العلاقة بالحيوانات في الخطاب السياسي وإلى تقصي إمكانية ترجمة الاستعارات بين الإنجليزية والعربية في الخطابات السياسية في إطار النظرية المفهومية للاستعارة التي ألفها كل من لاكوف وجونسون (1980)
المنهجية: يعتمد هذا البحث على دراسة النظرية المفهومية للاستعارة، تبحث هذه الدراسة في استخدام الاستعارة ذات العلاقة بالحيوانات في الخطابات السياسية التي ألقاها جلالة الملك الأردني عبد الله الثاني والرئيس ترامب. أما بخصوص ترجمة الاستعارات فقد استعان الباحث بنظريات ترجمة الاستعارات كنظرية (Schäffner 2004) و Deignan et al. (1997).
النتائج: خلصت هذه الدراسة أن الاستعارات مهمة في تشكيل الخطاب السياسي، ويمكن أن تكون أدوات مؤثرة يستخدمها السياسيون في إقناع جمهورهم وإيصال الأفكار السياسية المعقدة المتعلقة بمواقف مختلفة. وخلصت الدراسة أيضًا بقضية قابلية الاستعارات للترجمة أن أوجه التشابه في استخدام نفس الاستعارات تفوق نقاط الاختلاف؛ من حيث التماثل في عدد المجالات المفهومية للاستعارات المستخدمة.
الخلاصة: تُعد الاستعارات أدوات لغوية رئيسة واسعة الاستخدام وخصوصًا في الخطابات السياسية، لذلك تَستخدِم العديد من الشخصيات السياسية الاستعارة من أجل طرح ومعالجة قضايا سياسية مختلفة مثل الإرهاب، يوصي البحث بدراسة أنواع أخرى من الاستعارات في نصوص أخرى.
