الأهداف: تناول هذا البحث الإحالة في شعر ابن حيوس الدمشقي، وهدف إلى إظهار عمل أدوات الإحالة ووظيفتها وأنواعها وبنيتها، لما لها من دور أساسي في اتساق النص وتماسكه، وبيان مدى أهمية الإحالة في تمييز النص الذي تُستخدم فيه عن غيره من النصوص.
المنهجية: اتبع البحث المنهج التحليلي الوصفي، الذي يُعنى بتتبُّع الظاهرة؛ للكشف عن مدى تَحقُّق آليات الإحالة في شعر ابن حيوس، مما يساعد على تحليل هذه الظاهرة وتقسيمها، وفهم النص الشعري، وما يحيل إليه وتوضيح آثرها وجمالياتها في شعره.
النتائج: توصل البحث إلى أن الإحالة في شعر ابن حيوس تعمل على ربط العناصر اللغوية بعضها ببعض، تسهم في تماسكه مع الاتساق النصي والانسجام، ولها دور كبير في خلق سمات نصية لما تعمله من ربط متقدم أو متأخر، حتى كاد النص الشعري في حكم النص الواحد يفسر بعضه بعضا.
الخلاصة: خلص البحث إلى أن قصائد ابن حيوس لا تكاد تخلو من إحالة الضمائر والأسماء، وقد ظهرت أسرارها؛ لتجعل النص أكثر شمولا، وأغزر تطبيقا.
