الأهداف: هدفت الدّراسة إلى استكشاف أثر اللجوء السوريّ في الهويّة الوطنيّة الأردنيّة من وجهة نظر طلبة جامعة اليرموك.
المنهجية: تكوّنت عيّنة الدّراسة من (1500) طالب وطالبة من طلبة جامعة اليرموك تمّ اختيارهم عشوائيًا. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة، استخدم المنهج الوصفي المسحيّ من خلال استخدام مقياس الهويّة الوطنيّة. وقد تمت معالجة البيانات إحصائيًا عن طريق حساب المتوسطات الحسابيّة، والانحرافات المعياريّة، وتحليل التّباين المتعدّد (MANOVA).
النتائج: توصّلت الدّراسة إلى أنّ أثر اللجوء السوريّ في الهوية الوطنيّة الأردنيّة من وجهة نظر طلبة جامعة اليرموك كان بدرجة مرتفعة، وأظهرت نتائج الدّراسة عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائيّة في متوسطات استجابات طلبة جامعة اليرموك على جميع أبعاد مقياس الهويّة الوطنيّة تعزى لمتغيري: الجنس والكليّة، بينما كان هنالك فروق ذات دلالة إحصائيّة في متوسطات استجابات طلبة جامعة اليرموك على جميع أبعاد مقياس الهويّة الوطنيّة تعزى لمتغير الإقامة، إذ كانت هذه الفروق لسكان القرى.
الخلاصة: نوقشت النتائج في ضوء الأدب النّظريّ والدّراسات السابقة، وتوصي الدراسة بضرورة الاهتمام بإنشاء جيل ملتزم بمفاهيم الهوية الوطنية وخاصة في عصر العولمة والانفتاح وما تواجهه الهوية الوطنية من تحديات، فمن الواجب تكثيف جهود الجامعة في ترسيخ مبدأ الهوية الوطنية لدى طلبة الجامعات.
