دور المشاركة السياسية لطلبة الجامعات الأردنيّة في تعزيز العملية الديمقراطية: دراسة حول انتخابات مجلس اتحاد الطلبة في الجامعة الأردنية لعام 2024

الملخص

الأهداف: هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التحقق من وجود فروق في مستوى المشاركة السياسية والممارسات الديمقراطية لطلبة الجامعة الأردنية بناءً على متغيرات الدراسة (الجنس، الكلية، المستوى التعليمي، المنح الدراسية، الوضع الاقتصادي، العمل، الانتساب لمنظمة مجتمع محلي، الانتساب لحزب، مكان الإقامة)، إضافة إلى التحقق من وجود علاقة ارتباطية بين المشاركة السياسية والممارسات الديمقراطية لدى طلبة الجامعة الأردنية.

المنهجية: أُعدّت استبانة اشتملت على (26) فقرة للمشاركة السياسية، و(14) فقرة للممارسات الديمقراطية، ووزعت على عينة عشوائية بلغت (370) طالبًا وطالبة، مُختارة من طلبة الجامعة الأردنية في ظل انتخابات مجلس اتحاد الطلبة2024 . وتم استخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي في الدراسة.

النتائج: وجدت فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بمحور المشاركة السياسية والممارسات الديمقراطية تُعزى لمتغيرات المنح الدراسية (P= 0.02) والعمل (P= 0.008) ، لصالح ممن لديهم منح دراسية والذين لا يعملون.

الخلاصة: التصويت بين الطلبة لا يزال يعتمد بشكل كبير على الاعتبارات القبلية والعشائرية، وأنَّ نسبة كبيرة من الطلبة لا ينتمون إلى الأحزاب السياسية أو مؤسسات المجتمع المدني، وهذا يعكس ضعف تأثير الأحزاب على الشباب واستقطابهم. وتوصي الدراسة بأنه ينبغي تعزيز ثقافة التنافس على أساس البرامج الانتخابية والأفكار بين المرشحين، بدلاً من الاعتماد على الولاءات التقليدية، مثل: القبيلة أو العشيرة، وذلك من خلال نشر الوعي السياسي، وتوجيه الطلبة نحو تقييم المرشحين بناءً على كفاءتهم.
