الملخص

الأهداف: تهدف الدراسة إلى تناول مفهوم الهُوية في أدبيات جمال الدين الأفغاني ومحمد عبده في جريدة العروة الوثقى، والبحث في آليات الخطاب التي اعتمداها في تقديم هذه النصوص للطبقات السياسية والمثقفة والعامة.

المنهجية: اختطّت الدراسة طريقها بمناهج تحليل الخطاب، فناقشت الهوية وعلاقتها بالوحدة والنص، وسبل الخروج إلى فضاء الفكر الجديد باللغة والسياق والتفاعل الذي أدرج تحته الوحدة والتشظي، ومقاربات الخطاب والهوية، ومقاربات التمثيل والتحويل.

النتائج: كان لعناصر تحليل الخطاب، الإعلامي والسياسي، أكبر الأثر في التأثير في طبقات الشعوب الشرقية في محاولات تحقيق الوحدة وإظهار صورة الغرب وطموحاته في المنطقة، وقد أسهمت في إظهار العلاقة بين اللغة وطرائقها والأفكار المتداولة سياسياً واجتماعياً، فجلّت علاقات اللغة والسياق والتفاعل. وكان لجمال الدين الأفغاني ومحمد عبده الأثر الكبير في إنتاج هذه المعرفة المضادة للمستعمِر، وتنبيه الشعوب بخطورة الموقف على الأفراد والجماعات.

الخلاصة: توصلت الدراسة إلى نتيجة مفادها أن صحيفة العروة الوثقى كان لها قصب السبق في مناقشة الهوية ومضامينها وحاجة العالم الإسلامي إلى الوحدة والتآلف بعد صراعات كبيرة سواء كانت بينيّة داخلية أو مع الآخر بلغة خطاب واكبت الحركة الفكرية والهمّ العام في الشّرق.
