The Relationship between Psychological Prosperity and Irrational Ideas in Light of the Midlife Crisis of Both Sexes in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

The study aims to identify the relationship between psychological prosperity and irrational ideas in light of the midlife crisis for both sexes in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the differences in psychological prosperity and irrational ideas according to the two variables of gender (male / female), and social status (married/unmarried).
The descriptive method was applied, the study was applied to a sample of (805) males and females, (365) males, and (440) females, middle age (47.2) years., and (440) women, with an average age of (47.2) years, The study tools were the Psychological Prosperity Scale and the Irrational Ideas Scale were applied, prepared by the researcher, and Results of the study revealed that there is a statistically significant correlation between the degrees of psychological prosperity and the degrees of irrational ideas among the members’ sample of the research , Where the correlation coefficient was 0.883, which is significant at the level of significance (0.01). There was no statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the members’ sample in psychological prosperity according to the variables of gender and social status at the significance level (0.05), and there are no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the sample members in irrational ideas according to the gender at the significance level (0.05)
There are significant differences Statistically among the average scores of the members’ sample in the degrees of irrational Ideas according to social status (0.01), in favor of the unmarried, they are more susceptible to irrational ideas.
