The current study aims at finding out the differences in the level of anxiety among parents of disabled children and the parents of normal ones. The study sample consisted of 250 parents distributed as follows: (117) parents of normal children and (133) parents of disabled ones. As for the study tool, Taylor scale of anxiety was used to measure the level of crude anxiety. The results showed that there was no anxiety level among the parents of normal children as the arithmetic average of the anxiety level of the normal children's parents was (11.31). On the other hand, there was (average anxiety) level among the parents of disabled children as the arithmetic average of the anxiety level of the disabled children's parents was (22.60). The study results showed significant statistical differences at formula (α=0.05) of Taylor scale of anxiety level in relation to the parents' variety of work and gender. Accordingly, the study recommended several recommendations including the design of counselling programs based on the strategy that copes with pressures and most importantly the parents' anxiety of disabled children, which is the key to all behavioral and emotional disorders.
